A young cow was rescued last night after slipping and falling into the sea at Langness.
Moorehouse Farm took to social media to share details of the 'dramatic rescue'.
The farm says the female calf managed to swim to shore, but steep sides made a recovery 'difficult'.
After two grueling hours, she was successfully hauled up the cliff with the help of a tractor - the calf suffered some cuts and bruises, but was not seriously injured and is now recovering.
