Police and rescue services are extending their thanks to everyone involved in finding a screaming child in Ramsey.
They were contacted with reports of the child in the area of North Shore Road and close to the vicinity of the harbour.
A police-led operation involving the Fire Brigade and Coast Guard was instigated in an effort to locate the child.
Following a thorough search of the area that included knocking on all local address and waking residents, the child was located safe and well.
They’d like to thank everyone involved in the search and the residents surrounding North Shore Road for their help and assistance that led to a successful and welcome outcome.
