Douglas Coastguards were called last night to assist with an urgent medical transfer off the Island.
Their rescue helicopter was unable to land at Noble’s due to the weather conditions, and instead landed on Douglas beach.
Ambulance and Coastguards crews then carried out the transfer.
The service has also thanked the Police for undertaking crown control and putting an emergency road closure in place.
