The Department of Social Care has compiled a report based on the findings of a recent consultation on the draft Regulation of Care Bill.
Over 100 written responses were submitted via the online questionnaire, through email and post - in addition to this 21 stakeholder meetings were held, attended by 170 people.
So far a number of changes have been implemented, all of which are detailed in the report.
Acting department chief executive Yvette Miller says the Bill will allow the public to see how well care is delivered:
