Water fluoridation is safe - but more work needs to be done before introducing it here.
That's the conclusion of a public health report which is due to be laid before Tynwald later this month.
The report considered dozens of scientific studies and says fluoridation is a good way to tackle tooth decay with no evidence it's unsafe.
And it added fluoridating water is cost-effective compared to other methods of improving dental hygiene.
