A major new facility was opened in Ramsey today which is set to greatly enhance the health service.
The Renal Dialysis Unit at Ramsey and District Cottage Hospital will cater for dozens of patients and will ease strain on resources at Noble’s Hospital.
The development has been supported significantly by a group of trustees who contributed £250,000 to the project.
The facility has been purpose built from the existing Maughold Ward, which was redeveloped and designed to cater for the new service.
