Removing crib figures from display is "shortsighted" says Bishop

Christmas figures have reportedly been removed from public display at Noble's Hospital because they've been deemed "inappropriate".

A notice states the crib figures from St Mary's Church are being moved into the chapel.

The Island's Bishop Robert Paterson says he feels very, very disappointed:

In previous years the figures have been displayed in the front entrance - the Bishop says he doesn't accept that they are now causing offence:
