People are being reminded skips in Laxey aren't for general public use.
Civil Defence says the skips located on Glen Road in the village are for those affected by Tuesday's flooding.
They're designed for residents to dump their water-destroyed property.
It asks unless you live on that road, to find somewhere else to deposit household rubbish.
