Only those who're genuinely housebound should use the housebound Covid-19 vaccination initiative.
Government has issued the reminder after Health and Social Care Minister, David Ashford MHK, revealed last week some who were using the programme were not infact unable to leave their homes.
Officials say this is affecting the wider programme as when vaccine teams have to attend unnecessary house visits it'll take longer to give jabs to those who are unable to travel.
Government adds anyone who's registered for a housebound vaccine but feels they can get to either the Airport or Chester Street hub, with help from family or friends, or via Patient Transport Services, please contact 111 to amend their registration.
