Remand for woman on wounding charge

A Douglas woman has been remanded at the Isle of Man Prison after being accused of wounding her neighbour.

36-year-old Lorraine Marie Johnson, of Castlemona Avenue, appeared at Douglas Courthouse last week.

She's been charged with wounding a man with intent to assault and cause grievous bodily harm on February 10th.

There was no application for bail and she was remanded until her next court appearance on Thursday.

A second woman, 63-year-old Noeleen Bromley, also from Castlemona Avenue appeared in court with her.

She's accused of being an accessory to the offence and has been bailed until April 6th when committal proceedings are expected to take place.
