A Port St Mary woman has been remanded at the Isle of Man Prison after throwing a hot cup of coffee over a mental health worker.
24-year-old Eve Bailey, of Cronk Road, launched the liquid at the woman after a disagreement at Manannan Court.
Police were called to the mental health facility on June 24 th - Bailey was arrested and told officers she was ‘angry, impulsive and unpredictable’.
Another call for help was received on August 2nd - this time Bailey had assaulted a nurse who had intervened in an argument she was having with a fellow patient.
Bailey had punched the male nurse in the face - when two police officers tried to bring her under control she began to hit and kick them in the shins.
At Douglas Courthouse on Tuesday Bailey admitted two counts of assault and two of assaulting police officers.
Psychiatric reports will be compiled before Bailey is sentenced on September 18 th - she will next appear in court on August 14 th .
