New Relaxation Room Will Help People Recovering From Depression and Anxiety
A centre designed to allow depression or anxiety sufferers to recover has just added a new unit which is expected to greatly strengthen the service.
The relaxation and calming room has been donated by the Ballamona Association for Mental Health and is geared toward helping people through the recovery process.
Roughly each month the Mental Health Service have in the region of 209 referrals.
The principle of the room is to create an environment free of outside distractions where relaxation is encouraged.
The Department of Social Care have said it’s an invaluable add on to the Rehabilitation and Recovery Service and is already being put into use helping patients with a speedy recovery to a positive and productive life.
