Peel is next on the regeneration squad's hit list - with planning approval granted to redevelop Market Place and Michael Street.
The focus is on creating a more attractive space for people to spend time in and to make it easier for pedestrians to move around.
Natural stone paving will be used and where possible the pavements will be widened - the opened up space will then be used to support community events whilst still providing parking.
Subject to funding being approved the work could start early next year - regeneration manager Steven Stanley says it will help link the area:
Government paid grant for fishing boat used in drug smuggling plot
Manxman sailings cancelled because of gales
Yule be missing this, say police!
No net zero referendum after Tynwald vote
8% rise in government workers, 36% rise in salaries since 2021
