A red Panda cub at Curragh's Wildlife Park has had to be put to sleep.
The park took to social media earlier today to confirm the sad news.
One of the smaller male cubs - Kamal developed a sudden constant shake at around 6 weeks old.
After talking to vet experts and a course of antibiotics it was determined it was most likely neurological and non-treatable.
The park observed he couldn't use his back legs - and the hard decision was made to put him to sleep so he wouldn't suffer.
Staff say they hope a full post mortem will give some answers and will be a useful case study for other zoos and vets involved in the Red Panda breeding program.
However, it's not all bad news as the park says its delighed to have one healthy cub - Aria who is now out and about and likes to climb to the top of the tree with her dad Kush!
