There's a few familiar faces taking to the Mountain Circuit today for a parade lap.
One of them is Danny John - Jules, best known for his character 'Cat' in cult comedy TV series Red Dwarf.

He will be challenging the 37 and 3/4mile course at 10:45AM.
It's all in aid of charity Riders For Health
He told 3FM he has taken to the Mountain Circuit just once before, and he is still recovering from the adrenaline experience.
Danny has been to watch the TT many times before and is a huge fan of the biking world. (audio above)
After the race the pink helmet he wears will be auctioned off to members of the public.
