The recruitment process for a permanent Attorney General will begin ‘in a matter of weeks’.
That’s according to the Chief Minister who was quizzed about the role in Tynwald this morning.
North Douglas MHK David Ashford wanted to know when the post would be advertised and when a permanent appointment will be made.
It follows the news last month that Stephen Harding - the man appointed to the role in 2011 - was retiring; he cited 'ill health' as his reason for stepping down.
