 
                            The Isle of Man recorded its windiest December since 1946 - and we only got 30 hours of sunshine to boot:
That's Met Office forecaster Kirsty Pendlebury who says there were 27 days in the month where wind speeds were logged at force six or above. 
 
Conditions remained mild with an average temperature of just over 11 degrees - that beats the previous record by three degrees.
