A historic waterwheel on Island is set to be restored.
Onchan District Commissioners says an agreement has been reached for the Groudle Glen waterwheel to be demolished and rebuilt.
The authority added the work will be carried out in partnership with a third party in the community who are experts in this type of work.
Chair of the commissioners, Martin MacFarlane, commented the agreement will see the site 'restored to its former glory'.
