The Island's Infrastructure Minister says restoration work on streets in Douglas will all be of the same standard.
In a Tynwald question for written answer, Douglas North MHK David Ashford asked DOI Minister Ray Harmer whether the regeneration of Duke Street and Castle Street will be the same standard as Strand Street.
Mr Harmer says the old red concrete pavement will be replaced with the same natural granite materials used in Duke Street, Strand Street and Regent Street.
The refurbishment scheme will include full reconstruction of the street, improvements made to water drainage systems, new street lighting and street furniture - work is due to get underway early next year.
