'Written reassurance' has been given over the supply of medicines from the UK in the event of a no-deal Brexit.
That's according to Health and Social Care Minister, David Ashford, who says he's been told supply chains will be secured if the UK leaves the EU without an agreement.
It comes as Mr Ashford welcomed comments from UK Health Secretary, Matt Hancock.
Mr Hancock stated this week the industry is stockpiling drugs so patients don't need to.
Minister David Ashford on the UK Health Sec's reassurance re post-Brexit drugs supply: 'As a Crown Dependency which uses UK supply chains Matt Hancock's comments are welcome. We've had written reassurances that in the event of a no deal scenario supply chains will be secured.' https://t.co/eMkEkYh0ug
