Local authority and rate reform was the latest topic of choice for Liberal Vannin’s public meeting - which doesn’t have a formal policy on this issue.
15 people were at the meeting, including members of the public, and various councillors and commissioners.
Questions were raised during the meeting about the town versus country divide, and whether bigger regional local authorities are the answer.
Rate reform was mentioned a number of times during the rate setting process for local authorities earlier this year, as almost all were raised in line with or above inflation.
