One of the Island's rarest coins will go under the hammer later this month - and could fetch up to £3,000.
London-based auctioneer Dix Noonan Webb is selling a collection of Victorian coins and tokens, with the 1811 half-crown among the featured lots.
The coin was issued by the Douglas Bank Co and depicts Peel Castle on its reverse.
The extremely rare coin is expected to be sold for between £2,400 and £3,000 on September 30.
