A St John's man serving 18 years for 10 rapes has lost an appeal against his conviction.
William Henry Kelly was jailed for the sex attacks in March, along with two assaults causing actual bodily harm and four indecent assaults.
He claimed his advocate had represented him badly, and the deemster's summing up in the case was unfair.
However, this week Judge of Appeal Tattersall and Deemster Doyle dismissed his appeal, saying they were satisfied justice had been done.
