Ramsey Town Commissioners organised a memorial service for the 114th anniversary of S.S Ellan Vannin.
The ship sank on 3 December 1909 when approaching the Mersey, in hurricane force winds, and all passengers and crew died.
The commemoration took place yesterday at the memorial plaque on West Quay, Ramsey.
An introduction was read out by the commissioners, followed by the names of those who perished and prayers.
