It was revealed in court today that 17 year old Tanya Louise Hughes died after overdosing on a legal high.
Tanya, of Gladstone Avenue was discovered at a property in Ramsey on April 15th, she was found to be unconscious and unresponsive when the medics arrived, it was on the way to Nobles that she went into cardiac arrest and died.
The substance that she had taken is known as MDAI, it can be purchased over the internet and is legal in the Isle of Man.
The official ruling declared that she'd died as a result of toxicity.
A 35 year old man was arrested and subsequently bailed in relation to her death.
The date for the inquest to be adjourned has not yet been confirmed.
