Work on Ramsey Swing Bridge is not going to be finished by its original completion date of March.
Extensive maintenance work has been carried out on the bridge over a period of months with it set to be reopened well in time for the TT fortnight.
However this time frame is no longer looking likely, with more repair works needed to the structure’s turning wheels.
The delay has left police and commissioners with a dilemma as to how they’ll structure the traffic flow for Sprint Day - the town’s busiest day.
