Ramsey social security office to move

Ramsey's social security operations are due to move from later this week.

Local MHK Dr Alex Allinson says the social security office based at Cummal Mooar will close on Thursday (January 16) with services then expected be provided at the town hall from next Tuesday (January 21).

Dr Allinson adds having the facility under one roof alongside the likes of the job centre at Ramsey Town Hall will improve services for people in the North of the Island and allow them to work more closely with other local services.

Opening times for the office will remain the same after the move - existing customers are being notified.
