A Ramsey Pub has been congratulated as a runner up in a UK wide Pub of the Year competition.
The Trafalgar lost out to the Tamworth Tap in the Campaign for Real Ale contest.
Pubs in the competition are selected by CAMRA volunteers and judged on their atmosphere, decor, welcome, service, community focus and the quality of the beer.
Steph Tiesteel is the landlady of The Traf, she told us about how the final was judged, with the use of secret judges posing as customers:
It's the first time that a pub on the Island has got this far in the competition.
