MHK for Ramsey Dr Alex Allinson has responded to calls to prioritise bringing jobs to the town before further housing development commences.
A campaigner for Ramsey's improvement attended the Government conference earlier this week to voice his concerns on what he described as the decline of his beloved hometown.
Dr Allinson conceded there are a number of essential projects that need to get started in the town, that would improve its prosperity.
He even suggested it could benefit from development using Government's infrastructure improvement scheme:
