A man's appeared in court over 276 grammes of heroin found inside a car in Ramsey.
James William Francis Quayle of Thornhill Close in Ramsey appeared before Deputy High Bailiff James Brooks at Douglas Courthouse.
The 31-year-old is charged with two counts of possessing criminal property and one of possessing class A drugs with intent to supply.
Prosecutor Roger Kane told the hearing Mr Quayle was found with another man in an Audi A3 at Dogmills in Ramsey at 3.30pm on July 21.
Inside the car was a backpack containing heroin, digital scales and a blender, and a search of his home found thousands of pounds wrapped in plastic hidden in an extractor fan.
Defence advocate Peter Taylor told the court the money was from Baywash in Douglas and was being stored in Mr Quayle's home because the business had been broken into.
A bail application was refused and Mr Quayle was remanded in custody until his next appearance on September 23.
