A Ramsey man accused of raping and inflicting actual bodily harm on a woman will stand trial.
Derek Michael Bird, of Waterloo Road, denies both offences - they were allegedly carried out between December 22nd and 25th in 2015.
The 50-year-old was granted bail when he appeared at the Court of General Gaol Delivery at Douglas Courthouse on Friday.
The case was adjourned until February 24th when a pre-trial review will take place.
