Ramsey could be going to the polls later this year.
Nominations have opened for a seat on the board of commissioners, following the death of Leonard Singer.
Those interested in standing have until February 7 to hand in nomination papers at the Town Hall.
If more than one candidate comes forward, voting will take place on March 7.
