Ramsey FC Groundsman ReceivesTop Honour
A Ramsey lad has been awarded the prestigious honour of Northwest’s Groundsman of the Year following the good work he’s done for Ramsey Football Club.
The Ballacloan football pitch was put forward to represent the Isle of Man in the National Grounds competition organised by the English FA.
19 year old Alan Corlett who also plays for the club was given the award following a spot visit to Ballacloan from Manchester City’s assistant grounds man, who was one of a panel of judges inspecting football grounds around the North West of the UK.
