Ramsey Courthouse is reopening later this month as a community space.
It was bought by the commissioners in 2018 for £80,000 from the Department of Home Affairs and was put out for tender.
There was an unsuccessful attempt to take over the building by ‘The Heart of Ramsey’ group in 2019 but this fell through during the pandemic.
The courthouse - which will open on Feb 25 - will now be run by the charity ‘Ramsey Community Hub’ and will be available for anyone local or in the north to use.
