A Ramsey Commissioner says the closure of Cummal Mooar could put a further ‘strain’ on social housing in the town.
Juan McGuinness says it’s a ‘really disappointing’ decision for the elderly community in Ramsey.
He says the resolution by Manx Care to encourage residents to stay at home, could lead to longer wait lists as people want to move back and also require more money to modify homes to suit their needs.
