Proposed changes to the Ramsey boundary seem to be 'over the top' and haven't been consulted on appropriately.
That's according to commissioner Juan McGuinness, who took to social media to encourage those who would be affected to give feedback to the Electoral Commission.
He says that the boundary changes would have someone living within sight of the Queens Pier, a Ramsey icon, being represented by an MHK who has to consider the needs of people living in Laxey and Onchan.
Mr McGuinness believes this will do nothing to encourage people to vote or be engaged in the political process.
He concludes by saying that the proposed change has not been detailed fully enough to residents, and the potential impact for Ramsey has not been highlighted.
