Leonard Singer Is Appealing For Public To Contact Him If They Have Experienced Problems With Existing Meds Phone System
Ramsey Commissioner and Pharmacist Leonard Singer is calling for immediate changes to the existing MEDS service phone system.
He says that without a queuing system in place people are encountering real issues with getting hold of medical assistance, often in their time of need.
He also said he has been on the receiving end of numerous complaints relating to the issue in recent months and has decided to try and instigate some changes.
He said an improved system would provide the caller with a clearer idea of how long it will take to have their enquiry dealt with.
MEDS used to operate a phone stacking system, but were forced to scrap it when they moved to Nobles and it became unmanageable.
If you want to contribute to the survey currently being conducted by Leonard, you can contact him on 499166 or by email on leonard.singer@manx.net.
