It’s been confirmed that the funeral for local racer Steve Osborne will take place next Friday.
60 year old Steve died in the recent Manx Grand Prix following an incident at Alexander Drive.
An inquest into his death earlier this week heard he sustained a serious injury to his pelvis before suffering a heart attack in the ambulance en-route to Noble's Hospital.
The funeral will be held at 2pm at St Ninian’s Church and will be followed by a private family only service at the crematorium.
The family is asking for donations in lieu of flowers to go to St John Ambulance in Steve’s memory.
