A Motorcycle racing team boss has appeared in court accused of crashing a van but leaving the scene.
Clive Padgett of Turnberry Avenue in Onchan appeared before magistrates at Douglas courthouse.
The 65 year old pleaded guilty to careless driving and failing to report an accident on May 28.
The court heard he crashed his Mercedes Sprinter into two parked vehicles on Victoria Road in Douglas at 10pm but didn't report it.
Magistrates fined him £1,300 and imposed seven penalty points.
