A Douglas MHK wants more information about a firm who carry out fitness-to-work assessments on the Island.
Kate Beecroft is asking Social Care Minister Chris Robertshaw in the House of Keys today about Atos Healthcare.
The company have been employed by the department to carry out reviews on people claiming incapacity benefits.
She wants to know what qualifications a person requires to carry out the assessments and what appeals process is in place for someone who disagrees with their verdict.
It’s not the first time this subject has been raised in the House, last month the department refused to reveal how much it was paying Atos for the service.
