Queries over the future plans for the position of Attorney General will be raised today.
North Douglas MHK David Ashford will quiz the Chief Minister in Tynwald.
He wants to know when the post will be advertised and when a permanent appointment will be made.
It follows the news last month that Stephen Harding - the man appointed to the role in 2011 - was retiring; he cited 'ill health' as his reason for stepping down.
Mr Harding was suspended from the post in 2012 after allegations were made that he'd committed acts against public justice and perjury; he was acquitted two years later in February 2014.
In 2013 John Quinn was appointed as acting Attorney General - a position he's held ever since.
