Housing and Communities Board chair David Ashford says a development in Douglas isn't up to the standard of sheltered housing - because it's not sheltered accommodation.
In the House of Keys, David Ashford MHK faced questions from Douglas Central MHK Chris Thomas about the Westmoreland Village scheme.
Mr Ashford explained the proposals were from the Manx Development Corporation rather than his board.
And he said there's a reason they don't meet particular requirements:
Minister to face question about bus strike
No rush to resurface Tromode Road
Film extras needed for new Island-shot movie!
Government video shows plans for four-foot harbour wall
Commissioners say “pick up your pooch’s poop!”
Historic Manx one-pound notes up for auction
Is the Island ready for 100,000 people?
