Purr-fect ending for abandoned kitty

A baby kitten found abandoned in the middle of the road - is on the road to recovery!

Local man Simon Cowell came across the kitten whilst driving along Cooil Road last night.

Unsure what to do, he brought the animal home and took to social media to ask for advice.

That's when another local - Aimee Teare stepped in to save the day - offering warmth, kitten formula and security.

In an update on social media - Aimee shared the kitten made it through the night - describing her as 'very little but coming round'.

The fur baby is now being cared for elsewhere.
