The Manx Wildlife Trust is urging people to keep seals safe during pupping season.
In a post on Facebook, the organisation says baby seals are born from late August through to the middle of November each year.
It says both parents and young seals need peace and space, and is asking people to not to disturb them.
The charity explains if mothers feel threatened or disturbed, they can end up abandoning their babies.
