A seasonal warning has gone out to those wanting to take advantage of the good weather and go swimming in the sea.
The warning comes from the Harbours Division and concerns jumping into the sea from the piers and clifftops.
It’s a dangerous pastime which has led to numerous injuries locally, with some fatalities across the UK.
