Public uproar to prospect of nursery closures

Reports have indicated that the Department of Education and Children are to close down all of its nurseries and pre-school centres in a major effort to save money.

It's anticipated that this will result in significant job losses and affect hundreds of children. 

The facebook page is inviting comments from parents, which will then be printed off and taken to Government along with the gathered names from the petition.

The Department are yet to give a comment, although it's expected a statement will be made later on today.
