Public to hear about proposed new rates system

The Public are being invited to hear about proposals for the future of the Island's rates system.

From next week a series of  community meetings will take place for people to explore the proposed modernisation of the rates system.

A review of the system forms part of the Programme for Government, which was unanimously approved by Tynwald in April 2017.

The meetings will be led by Minister for Policy and Reform, Chris Thomas MHK, who will be bringing the proposals to the October sitting of Tynwald.

There will be four sessions in different parts of the Island, you can find full details below.
