People are being invited to show their support for those in the armed services this weekend.
The 2019 Armed Forces Day will be marked with a parade in Douglas on Sunday (June 30), starting at Regent Street at 3pm and heading down Douglas Promenade before a religious service and commemorations are held at the Villa Marina Royal Hall from 3.45pm.
The event celebrates the role service men and women play in conflict and peacekeeping across the globe, and this year will mark the 75th anniversary of the D-Day landings and post World War Two conflicts.
The day is free to attend, with family friendly entertainment also on offer at the Villa Marina Gardens from 10.30am on the day.
