The government says public service workers and MHKs will get a six per cent pay rise this year.
In a statement, the Public Services Commission says the pay deal has been negotiated with Prospect and Unite the Union.
The rise will apply from April to all grades of staff who are employed by the PSC - including civil servants.
It will mean the basic wage of an MHK will rise by around £4,500 to just under £76,000 a year.
