Public sector rents across the Island will go up later this year.
The government has confirmed a 1.9% rise will come into effect on April 1, which equates to between £1.19 and £2.01 a week depending on the size of a property.
It comes following a consultation between the Department of Infrastructure and the 15 local housing authorities across the Island.
The DOI says it's mindful some tenants will struggle to meet housing costs, but believes the increase is 'fair and reasonable' for all parties.
